Design Fee Structure
- Preliminary & Down Payment
- We charge a fixed fee for a preliminary design or Phase 1. We require this fee as down payment.
- Revisions
- We go to an hourly rate for any revisions after the preliminary phase, with each revision being billable upon delivery of that phase.
- Construction Documentation
- We charge a fixed fee for the construction documentation or Phase 3. At completion we deliver 5 sets of prints, with payment for that portion due at completion. We charge $12.00 each for extra sets of prints.
- Engineering Analysis
- Structural Engineering is quoted for each project. A retainer is due before commencement of work with the final price of engineering due upon delivery of the engineering.
A typical design will cost you between $1.25 to $2.00 per square foot, depending on the complexity, square footage, scope of the design, and number of changes you have.
